Unacceptable Items
- No household garbage, bags or piles of trash
- No Household Hazardous Waste: liquid, cooking oil, paint, varnish, motor oil, automotive fluids, car batteries, insecticide, pesticide, pool/spa chemicals, bleach, ammonia, household or shop cleaners
- No Tree stumps
- No Tires, automobile parts, trailers
- No Dead Animals
- No glass, mirrors, windows
- No Basketball hoops
- No E-Waste (tv’s, computer monitors, microwaves)
- No construction, demolition or remodeling materials-drywall, brick, block, treated lumber, roofing, shingles, ceiling tiles, concrete, dirt, rock, sod, sand
Acceptable bulky items include
- Furniture: sofas, love seats, chairs, tables, desks, shelving units, mattresses/box springs (limited), bed frames, and dressers
- Appliances: washers & dryers, stoves, refrigerators (must be emptied with doors removed), water heaters/softeners, range top ovens
- Air conditioners
- Toilets, Sinks, Tubs, Hot Tubs (must be cut in half)
- Exercise equipment, bicycles
- Lawnmowers (gas and oil removed)
- Doors and ladders
- Carpet (must be rolled and tied not longer than 10 x 10) 1 room only
- Outdoor Toys/Patio: lawn chairs, patio tables, patio chairs, large toys, grills (propane tank removed) and kiddie pools
- Wood *no more than 10 pieces allowed (must be bundled & tied)
Bulky
Items
Depending on your service area the Bulky Item program is for:
- Single-Family Residential Households are eligible to receive TWO (2) free Bulky pickups by scheduled appointment per calendar year
- NO Commercial bin customers are not eligible for this program
To Schedule
To schedule a Bulky item collection, please click on the schedule button below. Upon completed Bulky Guidelines agreement a Customer Service Representative will contact you to schedule your bulky:
- Set items out on the street 1 foot away from the curb no more than 24 hours in advance from scheduled appointment
- Do not block the sidewalks, fire hydrants, storm drains, garbage cans, or impede traffic
- No alley pickups
- Items must be placed in front of your own home (curbside on the street), 1 foot away from the curb
- Size restrictions- pile not to exceed 6X6
- You are responsible for your pile until it is removed
- FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN CITATION
